Marian Muldrow

EDITOR AND CREATIVE CONSULTANT

Marian works in the Humanities Department at Chattahoochee Technical College as well as the English Department at Kennesaw State University. She has worked in education for more than a decade. In addition, she serves as Moxie Media & Marketing’s Editor.

Marian’s work as an educator has been featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Diverse Issues in Higher Education and The Perspective because of her contributions to minority women in education. Marian has several published poems including, “If Then,” “Lipstick Jungle” and “Imitation of Allison Joseph” along with two published articles titled “Online Learning and Post-Secondary Expectations: Bridging the Learning Gap from Academic Administrator to Instructor” and “Climbing the Ladder to Leadership and Other (Un)told Stories of Black Women Administrators in Higher Education.” In addition, Marian has a published writing guide, A Quick Guide to Writing Essays, and has edited numerous essays, professional documents and manuscripts including A Girl’s Guide to Becoming Great by Rhonda Mincey and 30 Days to Change by Lacresha Williams.

Aside from her professional life, Marian has been married to Carl for the past ten years and has two children. She enjoys reading across various genres, academic writing and spending time with her family and friends.
